The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) is one of the largest faculties in the University. FBA is a well-established full-service business faculty with AACSB and AMBA accreditations and full membership of EFMD. FBA provides education in both traditional and emerging subjects of business and management, ranging from Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, Information Systems and Management, Marketing, General Management, to specialised Integrated Resort and Tourism Management. Our programmes are delivered at all levels of higher education including Undergraduate, Postgraduate, PhD, MBA, EMBA, DBA and Executive Education. Qualifications

As part of its strategic development, FBA is conducting a global recruitment of Associate/Assistant Professor in the area of Management. The successful candidates must hold a PhD in the relevant fields and demonstrate the evidence of an ability (or potential) to conduct impactful research and to publish in top-tier journals in Management and related areas. Expertise in Business Ethics, Innovation and Entrepreneurship is highly preferred. Industrial experience and experience in teaching related courses at postgraduate level are additional advantages. The candidate is expected to have strong interpersonal and communication skills. He/she will also be required to develop professional networks in the community and make an appropriate contribution to university services.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in January 2024.

Remuneration

A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP1,052,800 (approximately USD129,980) for the position of Associate Professor and MOP855,400 (approximately USD105,600) for the position of Assistant Professor will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% – 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
