The Faculty of Education invites applications for the position of Post-doctoral Fellow. Initial appointment is up to 12 months with a possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement and funding availability.
The Faculty of Education offers Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. programmes in various areas of education, with renowned scholars from China and abroad who are dedicated to the discovery, application and dissemination of new knowledge. The Faculty of Education strives to become a leading institution for teacher education and educational research in Macao, the Greater China Region, and beyond.
Qualifications
Applicant must have (a) an earned doctoral degree in science education; (b) strong knowledge and skills in advanced statistics, psychometrics, data mining, and machine learning; prior research experiences on large-scale international assessment data sets including PISA and TIMSS.
The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in November 2025.
Remuneration
Remuneration offered will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% – 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
