Associate/Assistant Professor in Special Education

The Faculty of Education (FED) invites applications for the position of Associate/Assistant Professor in Special Education.
FED offers degree programs (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.) in different areas of education. The Faculty strives to become a leading center for teacher education and a research-intensive education institution with great impacts in the Greater Bay Area, China, Asia, and the world. An earned doctorate degree in Special Education with solid evidence for teaching/research/service. Preference will be given to the candidates with a sustained record of high quality research in the relevant expertise areas. Priority consideration will be given to those with a strong track record of publications in competitive refereed journals (e.g., SSCI, SCI or A&HCI indexed journals) in the relevant disciplines.
The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in January 2021.
A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP828,100 (approximately USD102,230) will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% – 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
